Trabian has created a proprietary CMS which it deploys on all its websites and maintains for all its clients. Because it’s browser-based, it requires no separate software in order to make changes. Hosting and maintenance costs include all content management system updates (so that our clients have the most up-to-date technology), server software and security updates.
The content management system supports multiple users, multiple sets of permissions and is extendable for future development and functionality plugins. The content management system also supports workflow – incorporating a customized approval process specific to individual clients and the ability to create users with permissions to only edit specific areas of the site.
The goal of the CMS is to provide our clients with the know-how and power to update their own sites on their own time in a variety of different ways. The CMS has the tools to do everything from make edits to a page to updating a table of rates and all in a user friendly way.
The following forum topics provide a tutorial on how to do the most basic things inside the CMS. If there is something you would like to do but don’t see in this forum please let us know.
